J. Teri Elefante
A native New Yorker, born and raised in Manhattan, she attended the famed High School of Music and Art and went on to attain her Bachelors Degree from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. After graduation she began her creative career as Art Director and Production Manager at Peer-Southern Organization, one of the most noted music publishers in the country designing music books and album covers for such artists as Donovan, Buddy Holly, Ravi Shankar and Merle Haggard, to name a few. She then moved on as Art Director for a number of small advertising agencies until she became Design Director for WNET/Thirteen for ten years. Teri left WNET/Thirteen to form Absolute Perfection Graphics & Design, an award winning graphic design/creative strategy firm. Some current and past clients include: The New York Yankees, JPMorgan Chase, Affinity Health Plan, Macmillan Publishing Company, Sony Music, Jacobi Medical Center and Harry Winston, Inc.
 Awards & Achievements
Designed a typeface called Cracker that was purchased by Photolettering, Inc.
While at WNET/ Thirteen, she won 8 New York Area Television Academy Local Emmy Awards; the prestigious Art Director’s Club 62nd Annual Creativity Award; the PBS DESI Award and several NAEB awards
